Rihanna just recently unʋeiled the first photo of her infant son face

On December 17, the “Diamonds” singer shared an adorable video of her son on TikTok, marking her fans’ first look at his sweet little face as well as her post on the app. Rihanna and her partner, A$AP Rocky, welcomed their first child in May but had yet to share his name or any photos with the press…until now.

While his name was left out of the TikTok video, the clip features the seven-month-old’s cherub face as he giggles in his car seat and reaches for his mom’s phone. “He’s trying to get mommy’s phone,” Rihanna says in the background of the video, which she captioned “hacked.” Looks like we’ve got a little tech genius on our hands.

Privacy has reportedly become a bigger priority for the famous couple since becoming parents. “They’re keeping things low-key so they can enjoy their little family,” a source told Entertainment Tonight in August. “Privacy has become increasingly important to the couple. When it was just the two of them, they’d go out all hours of the day and night, and interact with fans. Now, with the baby, they’re a little more protective.”

In a November interview with The Washington Post, Rihanna explained why she was waiting to share her son with the world. “We just didn’t get around to it yet really,” she said, per Hypebae. “We’ve just been living. But I guess there’s a certain freedom that comes with kind of just, like, getting it out there.” In an interview with Access Hollywood, she described the early days of motherhood as “trippy as hell.”

“Life starts over when you become a parent. It’s life that you’ve never known before,” she said. “You look at him and he’s yours but he’s a stranger and you’re learning him as he’s learning you and learning the world. When he looks at me in my eyes, my whole soul…I can’t tell if it’s cold or hot.”
